President: Joey Kallal
Joey is a junior also pursuing a minor in business. Aside from MA, he plays the trumpet, works for the office of New Student Programs as an Orientation Leader, is an Engineering Learning Assistant, and is a Communications Intern for the MatSE department. In his free time, he enjoys to cook!
Vice President: Jasmine Woo
Jasmine is a MatSE junior, focused in metals and polymers, and minoring in Sustainability, Energy, and Environment. Last spring, she studied abroad in Ireland. Outside of academics, she loves trying new foods and hiking!
Treasurer: Shruti Mukhopadhyay
Shruti is currently a sophomore in MatSE. Apart from MA she is involved in Keramos, Engineers without Borders (EWB) and the Film Score Orchestra (FSO). In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and listening to music.
Secretary: Gianna Mabulay
Gianna is a sophomore working towards a minor in Math. Outside of MA, she works as a Research Assistant in a food science lab. Through her internships, Gianna hopes to work in the manufacturing and production industry and eventually become a project manager. She has visited over 10 countries and plans to travel to 2 more by the end of the year, and she wants to visit all the National Parks in the US.
Social Chair: Marlo DeCapo
Marlo is a sophomore with a concentration in biomaterials and is pursuing a minor in sustainability. Outside of MA, she is a Society of Women in Engineering chair, and in her free time she likes to read, travel, and cook!
Service Chair (Fall): William Pascoe
William is a junior pursuing a minor in Food Science. When he is not studying or hosting service events, he is usually in the kitchen cooking or baking. He also enjoys playing with his cat, Ruby.
Service Chair (Spring): Srigeetika Cuttamanchi
Srigeetika is a sophomore concentrating in Biomaterials and minoring in chemistry. Outside of MA, she is an ESTAR and works as a Research Assistant in a food science lab. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, watching TV, spending time with friends, and playing with her dog.
EOH Director: Miriya Joseph
Miriya is a junior pursuing a minor in semiconductor engineering. Outside of MA, she is an undergraduate researcher in the Anderson lab and is involved with women in engineering and iGEM. She is very passionate about EOH! In her free time, she enjoys baking and watching Formula 1.
Women in MatSE Chair: Elise Tejeda
Elise is a senior with a focus area in polymers. This summer, she was a co-op at Sherwin Williams on their external polymer engineering team working on polyester coatings. Outside of MA, she is involved in the Morrill Engineering Program and is on the academic committee for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. In her free time, she loves crocheting, running, and trying new coffee shops.
Freshman Representative: Jaymin Choi
Jaymin is a freshman trying to pursue a double major with philosophy. Currently, he is involved in the plasma source sub-team in Ion-I. In his off-time, he likes to read, go climbing, work calisthenics tricks, and hang out with friends, which usually entails board games and watching movies together. His favorite album at the moment is “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust” by David Bowie.
Freshman Representative: Suhaani Singh
Suhaani is a freshman also intending to pursue a minor in Computer Science. Her other on-campus involvements include Engineering Council and playing flute in the Film Score Orchestra. In her free time, she enjoys learning new music, reading, and baking!
